One suspect is dead and another is in custody after reportedly carjacking a UPS truck and taking the driver hostage in San Jose. NBC Bay Area reporter Janelle Wang was on hand when suspect Mark Morasky fled the UPS truck.
The incident started as a chase last night when officers tried to pull over a stolen vehicle. Police say the two suspects then carjacked a UPS driver and the pursuit continued. It ended with an hours-long standoff . A woman got out of the truck and was taken into custody. Morasky allegedly fled on foot and apparently was shot by officers. The UPS driver was not hurt.
