California State Treasurer Fiona Ma is telling Congress it’s time to make banks available to the legal cannabis industry.
Ma recently testified before the House Financial Services Committee and called on Congress to create a “safe harbor” for cannabis businesses to open bank accounts, have access to credit and pay taxes electronically.
