Activists across the Bay Area will be rallying to protest President Trump’s national emergency declaration. Activists will hold “President’s Day Protest to Fight Trump’s Fake Crisis” demonstrations at noon today in Oakland, San Francisco and Walnut Creek. In Santa Rosa, the group Indivisible will gather in the Square at 5pm. It comes in response to the Trump administration declaring a national emergency at the southern border in order to secure funding for a border wall.
