Something tossed in a trash can is believed to have sparked a fire in Santa Rosa that burned an RV and neighboring house. The Evening Way neighborhood was awakened by an explosion and orange glow of flames around 4:00 yesterday morning, but the family sleeping in the house managed to escape without injury. Damage to the house is estimated at about 200-thousand-dollars and a neighboring house sustained some heat damage. Fire officials say it appears to be accidental and related to the discarded materials in the trash can.
