American Red Cross Donating To 10 Recovery Based Services in Sonoma County

The American Red Cross is donating more than $3 million in to fund community-based recovery services throughout California, including 10 here in Sonoma County.

On the larger end, 500 thousand dollars was awarded to the Hope Crisis Response Network for building materials and 400 thousand to the Community Action Partnership of Sonoma County. Meanwhile, Social Advocates for Youth or SAY, which provides housing and services for young people locally, was granted about 155 thousand towards grief and suppot counseling. Others local nonprofits awarded grant money include Latino Service Providers, On the Move, and North Coast Opportunities for Lake County and Mendocino County.
