A California company believes they have created the first bulletproof hoodie. Wonder Hoodie founder Vy Tran says the hoodie features layers of Kevlar which help protect wearers:
The East Palo Alto resident was inspired to create the jacket after a former neighbor of hers was shot to death outside her Seattle home during a robbery. She says the garment is meant to offer something which is affordable and wearable. Wonder Hoodies costs around $600, but there is also a denim jacket version for around 550.
