Napa City Hall To Fly Rainbow Flag For Pride Month

Rainbow Flag

Napa City Hall will be a little more colorful for Pride Month in June. The city council voted this week to formally recognize June as Pride Month and decided to raise the rainbow flag on the School Street flagpole beginning next Saturday. It will be raised up that flagpole every day for the month of June to honor Napa’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer residents and tourists alike. The news comes in the wake of the East Bay city of Dublin’s decision that only municipal, state, and federal flags should fly above local government buildings. Santa Rosa’s Pride Celebration takes place next weekend.
