Off-Duty Los Angeles County Deputy In Critical Condition Following Shooting At Fast Food Establishment


An off-duty Los Angeles County deputy is in critical condition following a shooting at a fast food restaurant in Alhambra. L.A. Sheriff’s Department Captain Kent Wegener says it happened at a Jack in the Box yesterday evening.

The deputy was reportedly shot in the head and rushed to a hospital. The suspect was last seen driving off in a 2006 white Kia Sportage SUV with paper plates. There is no word on a possible motive.
