A truck driver has died this morning after colliding with a tree in Graton.
Occurring just after 7 AM, it was reported to CHP that a White 1989 Toyota Pick Up was driving on Oak Grove Ave. west of SR-116 when the vehicle drove eastbound off the north edge of the roadway and collided with a tree. Emergency Personnel started CPR but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
A CHP preliminary investigation indicates that the driver wasn’t wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. There were no other vehicles involved and no passengers in the pickup. Public identification of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
