Erin Brockovich Speaks Out Against PG&E

PG&E is being accused of failing to repair power lines the company has long known could spark wildfires. The Wall Street Journal obtained documents under the Freedom of Information Act that show the embattled electric company has long been aware that parts of its transmission system have reached the end of their useful lives. The news has consumer advocate Erin Brockovich frustrated:

PG&E officials say they don’t agree with or support the Journal’s conclusions, but are inspecting thousands of transmission lines, poles and substations to identify and fix the issues with their electrical system.
