Two Santa Rosa men are facing charges for allegedly trafficking narcotics. Detectives opened an investigation in June and continued to monitor the activities of Javier Alejandro Pacheco-Moya and Javier Alejandro Orozco-Romero. Both men were arrested yesterday and found to be in possession of two pounds of heroin. A search warrant of their Powderhorn Avenue residence turned up more heroin, a half-pound of methamphetamine, and $15,000 in cash. There was also evidence of drug dealing, including digital scales and packaging material. Authorities say it’s the largest amount of the narcotic seized in the city at one time in at least a year. The suspects are believed to be connected to larger North Bay drug rings.
