Fair Attendance Down For 6th Straight Year

People appear to be going to the Sonoma County Fair less often. Paid attendance dipped to 125,000 people this year, which marks the sixth straight year for sagging attendance. Fair organizers say more people chose to skip the fair this year in part due to the highly publicized mass shootings. They also say people appear to be less interested in the fair. Attendance peaked in 2012 with more than 193,000 people attending the fair.
