PG&E Accepting Claims Through Wildfire Assistance Program

Residents impacted by recent wildfires in Northern California can now try to get financial help from PG&E. The utility is accepting claims from people looking to recoup housing costs and other expenses related to the 2017 and 2018 fires. Claims can be filed online through PG&E’s wildfire assistance program until November 15th. The money comes from a special $105 million relief fund that was approved by a federal judge overseeing the utility’s bankruptcy case.
