Crews are battling a fire in southern Mendocino County that has triggered evacuation orders. The fire broke out yesterday around 6 p.m. along Moose Road near Bus McGall Road and quickly ballooned to 150 acres. Evacuation orders are up for parts of Mendocino County this morning, as crews try to contain a wildfire in the Hopland area. Cal Fire crews say the Moose Fire has burned more than 150-acres and is 25% contained. The fire is burning in steep terrain 45-miles north of Santa Rosa. So far, no homes are threatened and there have been no injuries. Firefighters were making good progress on the fire last night since the winds died down and temperatures cooled. Residents of Windsor and Healdsburg reported seeing smoke from that fire.
