For the 12th time this year, a ‘Spare the Air’ alert has been issued for the Bay Area. The Air District says warmer temperatures, light winds, and car exhaust will all combine, leading to higher concentrations of ozone today. Experts are warning residents to limit any exercise to the early morning hours when ozone levels are lower. They’re also asking commuters to use public transit or a ride share service.
