Thousands of runners are now resting after running the Santa Rosa Marathon. Yesterday’s marathon brought about 45-hundred runners from across the country to the streets of downtown. The winner of the full marathon was 39-year-old Thomas Chapman of Los Altos with a time of two hours, 33 minutes and 55 seconds. The first woman to cross the finish line was 30-year-old Bridie McCarey of San Diego with a time of two hours, 47 minutes and 43 seconds.
