New Bill Aims To Limit Sales of Semi-Automatic Rifles

The sale of semi-automatic rifles in California could be limited under a bill being considered at the state Capitol. The proposal by state Senator Anthony Portantino would limit residents to one semi-automatic rifle per month, and no one under the age of 21 would be able to buy them. The bill originally limited purchases of all long guns to once a month, but was limited to focus only on semi-automatics.
