Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown closed one part of the investigation into a boat fire that killed 34 people.

He says 33 victims were identified using DNA. The final body was found yesterday and identified with fingerprints. The burned hull of the boat has now been pulled up and placed on a salvage boat. The preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Board says the entire crew was asleep when the Labor Day fire broke out. Regulations required the boat to have a night watchman.
