Reward Offered In Connection With Sonoma County Fairgrounds Armed Robbery

A $2,500 reward is being offered in connection with the armed robbery of a Sonoma County Fairgrounds employee Wednesday afternoon. The 58-year-old female victim was collecting money in a fairgrounds parking lot just after 2 p.m. when the suspect approached with a gun and demanded cash. Police say he had been loitering in the parking lot prior to the crime and manage to flee with the money towards the Jockey Club. The victim was not injured in the incident, but the suspect remains at large.
