Sonoma County Winegrape Growers Proud of Sustainability

Sonoma County Winegrape Growers are touting sustainability. They announced Thursday that 99% of Sonoma County vineyards have been certified Sustainable, practically reaching a goal of 100% sustainable set out five years ago. Press democrat reports that 14 wineries will this year ship out about 500,000 cases of Sonoma County wine bearing a “sustainable farmed grapes.” The growers will also be part of a test program that will establish a climate adaptation certificate.
