Santa Rosa Felon Arrested For Firearm and Drug Possession

A convicted Santa Rosa Felon has been arrested early this morning for possessing a firearm and also meth for sale. Around 1:50 AM, 40 year old Cesar Vasquez-Lopez was found in a car parked in the parking lot of a local hotel on Cleveland Avenue by an officer and approached for loitering. During a search of the vehicle, the officer found a .40 cal semi-automatic firearm, approximately 3.25 ounces of suspected methamphetamine, and evidence the substance was possessed for sales. Vasquez-Lopez was booked into the Sonoma County jail for several counts related to gun and drug possession. There was also another person in the vehicle but they were found to be unrelated to the substance sales and was released.
