Assemblyman Jim Wood Wants California To Make Effort In Rebuilding Electric Grid

A member of the state legislature who represents the area burned in the Kincade Fire says big changes need to come to PG&E. Assemblyman Jim Wood says he doesn’t see why California can’t take a major effort to stabilize and rebuild our electric grid, similar to the rebuilding effort after the Northridge Earthquake.

Wood himself has been without power for several days. He says the state should look towards the municipal utilities as a model, because the current system with PG&E is not working.
