Historic Point Reyes Lighthouse To Reopen Today

The historic lighthouse at Marin County’s Point Reyes is reopening to the public today. The lighthouse at Point Reyes National Seashore underwent a $5 million renovation over the past year. The reopening is timely, as it comes just weeks before the anniversary of when the lighthouse first lit the sea on December 1st, 1870. The visitor’s center opens its doors today at 10 a.m. and tours of the lighthouse will begin at 2:30 p.m.
