Sonoma State Students Have Project Launched Into Space

More than two-dozen Sonoma State University students are behind a project that’s now in outer space. About 30 students worked on what is called an EdgeCube, which was launched into space yesterday on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket that launched from the Kennedy Space Center. The project was designed to measure stresses on fields and forests as the seasons change, and to look at the impact of climate change.
