Warriors Invite Group Of Survivors From Gilroy Garlic Festival Shooting

A group of survivors of the Gilroy Garlic Festival shooting may still be on cloud nine after receiving a special invitation to last night’s Warriors game against the Memphis Grizzlies at the Chase Center in San Francisco. Victims of the shooting also got to meet face to face with Dubs coach Steve Kerr before the game. Kerr has been an outspoken advocate for gun control and told the group of survivors and their families about his father being assassinated while serving as president of the American University of Beirut during a pre-game press conference. The Garlic Festival shooting killed three people and injured more than a dozen others in July.
