Man Facing Charges After Stealing Money From Healdsburg Post Office Mailbag


A man is facing charges after allegedly stealing cash from a mailbag at the Healdsburg Post Office. The U.S. Attorney’s office says 50-year-old Christopher Ernest Rocha of Fresno is charged with a felony count of theft of public money. Police say he was driving for a trucking company that contracts with the USPS when he took a mailbag from the Healdsburg Post Office on Tuesday and then stole cash from a USPS remittance pouch. Police arrested him in San Francisco.
