Members of an immigration rights group are protesting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s arrests of two immigrants at the Sonoma County Superior Court in Santa Rosa last week. Rene Saucedo from the Graton Day Labor Center:

Protesters gathered outside the courthouse yesterday, chanting “enough is enough” and “no more ICE in Sonoma County.” The two immigrants were arrested last Tuesday in violation of a new state law barring civil immigration arrests at California courthouses. The Sonoma County District Attorney’s office has condemned the arrests.
