Sacramento County Treating Coronavirus Patient

A patient who is believed to be the nation’s first confirmed case of the coronavirus from “exposure in the community” is being treated in Sacramento County. The Solano County resident has been under the care of the UC Davis Medical Center for a week. The CDC says the patient tested positive for the COVID-19 strain and was transferred to the Sacramento hospital on February 19th. Health officials say this appears to be the first case of coronavirus in the U.S. of an unknown origin.
