North Bay selfie-seekers are going as far as trespassing when it comes to getting photos of the current almond tree blooms. Almond growers in Solano County say they’ve caught dozens of people who have broken into their fields to snap shots of their flowering trees. Many are professional photographers and their clients to families who want to have a picnic under the blooms. They have left litter, broken sprinklers, and have even gotten their vehicles stuck in the soil. Farmers say folks wanting to take pictures of their almond trees can do so outside of their fence. Trespassers can face up to over $1,100 fines.
