Frito Lay Closes Southern California Plant

Some favorite snacks might be delayed getting to store shelves. A Frito-Lay plant in Southern California had to shut down after workers started showing symptoms of coronavirus. No word yet how many but the facility has 620 full-time workers. All of them will continue to be paid up to 12-weeks. The company says there’s no evidence the virus spread through food or packaging but the entire plant will be deep cleaned.
