Oakland International Airport Employee Tests Positive For Coronavirus

A worker at Oakland International Airport is testing positive for the novel coronavirus. Airport officials say he is a gate agent who last worked in Terminal 2 on Sunday. The man is not an employee of the airport nor does he work for the Port of Oakland, which owns and operates the airport. Port officials say all the gates where the man worked, as well as a men’s restroom in baggage claim that he used, have been disinfected and thoroughly cleaned, including podiums, jetways, doors, chairs, and armrests.
