UC System Donating $2 Million To Fund Coronavirus Research


The University of California system is providing millions in funding to help the state research projects to fight the coronavirus. Officials announced yesterday that it will provide $2 million in seed funding to scientists across the state to fast-track breakthroughs to combat the pandemic. The university said that the funding comes from three statewide research grants, which already focus on breast cancer, tobacco-related disease and HIV/AIDS.
