After a relatively calm week, Sonoma County is reporting a big rise in coronavirus cases. Last night it was announced that 22 more people have tested positive, bringing the county total to 216. That’s a one-day increase of 11%. Starting Saturday, the county will ramp up testing and be able to test up to 200 people per day. Sonoma County Health Officer Dr. Sundari Mase says healthcare workers will be tested first:
Other groups at high risk will follow with general population coming last. Healthcare workers will need to set up an appointment first, which can be done by calling 707-565-4667.
