Two men have been arrested and 8 others released following a raid of an illegal marijuana grow on the Round Valley Indian Reservation in Mendocino County. The Press Democrat reports that 69-year-old Perrin Hoaglen and 24-year-old Adrian Silva Farias were arrested on charges related to running the illegal grow as well as gun and ammo related charges. Authorities found a small caliber handgun in Farias’s car and ammo in Hoaglen’s home. Hoaglen, being a felon, isn’t allowed to have ammunition. The other 8 people were released after determining they only committed misdemeanor crimes and they didn’t want to risk spreading COVID-19 in the jail, what with five of them being from San Jose.
