A staff member at Santa Rosa’s Oakmont of Villa Capri has tested positive for coronavirus. Residents at the assisted living and memory care facility are being asked to shelter in their apartments while they and staff members are being monitored for symptoms of the virus. The Sonoma County Health Department is working closely with Oakmont staff, who say the employee hadn’t been to work in ten days and will not return to work until further notice. The Press Democrat reports that this is the third positive case among employees in Santa Rosa’s 20 skilled nursing facilities and 177 care homes.
