Santa Rosa Police are evaluating whether to renew the citywide 8:00 p.m. curfew, which was scheduled to expire this morning. It’s been in effect for the last three nights after peaceful daytime protests over police brutality devolved into vandalism and looting when darkness fell. But only about 30 people turned out to march in the downtown area Wednesday night, compared to several hundred on previous nights. Only a handful of people were arrested last night for violating the curfew, compared to about 100 on Tuesday night. Windsor’s 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. curfew is scheduled to end on Friday morning.
