UC Davis Doctors Taking Part In Male Contraceptive Clinical Study

UC Davis doctors are taking part in a National Institute of Health clinical study to find the next contraceptive for men. The Director of Family Planning at UC Davis Health says the gel contraceptive works like a birth control pill and is applied to the man’s shoulders. Researchers are looking for 12 couples who have been together for at least a year for the two-year trial. UC Davis said couples who participate in the study will receive more than $4,000.
