Sonoma County has surpassed the 1,000 mark of coronavirus infections since March. 32 more cases were confirmed last night. The Press Democrat reports that Dr. Sundari Mase is not overly concerned about the benchmark number. The health officer is more concerned about the trend: cases have risen 40% in just the last two weeks. Hospitalizations are stable, at just 10% of the cases. Dr. Mase says she’d like to see more people tested for the virus, so the health department can better predict infections thru the summer.
