Kaiser Launching Initiative Toward Fighting Systemic Racism

Kaiser Permanente is launching a multi-million dollar initiative toward fighting systemic racism in the U.S. The Oakland-based health care provider is leading a $100 million effort to expand economic opportunities and combat systemic and structural racism for Black people and those in underrepresented communities. Kaiser’s CEO Greg A. Adams says the company is committed “to stop the “physical, psychological, economic and social impacts of inequity and systemic racism” so they can help create healthier communities.
