As residents and businesses sue PG&E for the Kincade fire, Cal Fire has determined that it was a PG&E line that caused it. Yesterday, Cal Fire officials determined that electrical transmission lines northeast of Geyserville that belonged to PG&E sparked the deadly 2019 fire. That fire burned nearly 78,000 acres of land and destroyed 374 structures. The fire also caused the evacuation of 185,000 residents. According to county officials, it cost Sonoma County an estimated $725 million in economic losses.
