Petaluma Firefighter Who Tested Positive For COVID Rejoining Department

The Petaluma firefighter who tested positive for the coronavirus is now expected to rejoin the department. Officials announced yesterday that the firefighter who tested positive is “recovering well” and is expected to return to the fire department on Tuesday. The 14 other crew members who were quarantined after coming into contact with the patient are expected to return to their normal shifts today. The station reopened on Monday after it underwent a deep cleaning following the positive test result.
