Sonoma County Turning To State Officials For Assistance

Sonoma County is trying to limit the number of deaths at skilled nursing homes, and they are turning to state officials for help. The county requested a state intervention according to Dr. Sundari Mase yesterday, which could begin as early as Monday. This comes as health officials report eight coronavirus deaths this week with 4 of those deaths occurring at residential care facilities for the elderly and four at Skilled Nursing Facilities. 26 of the 32 coronavirus deaths have been reported from senior care facilities.
