Sonoma County Supervisors To Address Health Order Enforcement And Expanded Sick Leave Benefits

Couple of big items on the agenda today for the Board of Supervisors. First, the supervisors are set to approve an emergency ordinance that would approve further administrative authority to enforce local health orders around COVID-19. Violations could see individuals fined up to $100 and businesses fined up to $10,000. Also during today’s virtual meeting at noon, the board will discuss expanding sick leave benefits temporarily to all private employees within the unincorporated areas of the county. That issue isn’t expected to be formally voted on until August 18th.
