Trade Organization Representing California Theme Parks Demanding Governor Newsom Issue Guidelines For Reopening

A trade organization that represents several California theme parks is demanding that Governor Gavin Newsom issue guidelines for them to reopen. The California Attractions and Parks Association says tens of thousands of jobs are up in the air, hundreds of millions of tax revenue that support critical local, state and federal programs are lost and local businesses that rely on amusement parks continue to struggle. While the association has created safety protocols to reopen, they need information from the state. The group represents dozens of theme parks in the state, including Disneyland, Universal Studios, Six Flags parks, and SeaWorld.
