A sideshow occurring in Santa Rosa’s Roseland neighborhood drew hundreds Wednesday night. The Press Democrat reports that about 200 cars gathered at the former Dollar Tree parking lot on Sebastopol Road as part of an impromptu celebration of Mexican Independence Day. No injuries were reported as cars mainly performed doughnuts and squealing tires. Officers did not act on it immediately as they didn’t have the resources to shut it down right away. Eventually, 6 citations were handed out afterwards having to do with minor vehicle code violations.
