Sierra Foothills At Risk For Potential PSPS This Weekend

Thousands of customers in parts of the Sierra Foothills could be left in the dark this weekend. PG&E announced that it could cut off power starting Saturday evening due to high fire-risk conditions. The shutoff would impact about 21,000 people in Yuba, Butte and Plumas counties. PG&E estimates that power will be shutoff to the impacted areas around 6 p.m. Saturday and will be restored by 8 p.m. Monday.
