California Employees Allowed To Deduct Non-Reimbursed Business Expenses On State Income Tax Returns

Being a Californian has its perks especially if you’ve probably spent some money trying to make your living space more suitable for working. Employees living in the Golden State and six other states are allowed to deduct non-reimbursed employee business expenses on their state income tax returns. H&R Block’s Tax Institute says to just be sure to check the instructions for your return because each state may have different rules regarding how much in non-reimbursed expenses qualify.
