Sonoma And Napa Counties Avoid Latest Round Of PSPS

It looks like Sonoma and Napa counties will avoid PG&E power shutoffs. Officials canceled the shutoffs in some counties because of changes in the weather yesterday. Shutoffs still happened for roughly 32,000 customers in the Sacramento Valley and Sierra Nevada foothills. PG&E is keeping its eye on a wind event coming into our area Sunday through Tuesday: there could be another PSPS called for during that time. The National Weather Service has issued a fire weather watch for that period.
