Petaluma Police Department Taking Action To Deter Sideshow Activity

The Petaluma Police Department has impounded a corvette for 30-days to deter sideshow activity. A concerned citizen called police at to report the vehicle spinning doughnuts and driving recklessly through a residential area. Police responded on Friday afternoon, impounding the vehicle found parked near the intersection of Burlington Drive and Madison Street. Officers were able to get permission to impound the corvette for 30-days based on the sideshow activity and illegal exhibition of speed on a public roadway.
