FCC Commissioner Critical Of Two California Democrats Following Comments On Conservative News Channels

An FCC Commissioner is sounding off on two California Democrats for questioning whether cable providers should carry conservative news channels. U.S. Representatives Anna Eshoo and Jerry McNerney sent letters to major cable companies about allowing news channels to air what they called “misinformation and conspiracy theories”. They asked whether the networks planned to continue carrying channels like Fox News, Newsmax and OANN. Republican FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr called it a “chilling transgression of free speech rights”.
